Počev od podataka za januar 2018. godine Republički zavod za statistiku podatke o prosečnim zaradama po zaposlenom objavljuje po novoj metodologiji.
Na osnovu Saopštenja ZR10 Republičkog zavoda za statistiku (br. 075 od 25.03.2019), prosečne neto zarade po zaposlenom u Republici Srbiji u januaru 2019. godine su iznosile:

nominalno povećanje za 4,1% (nominalni indeks = 104,1)
realno povećanje za 3,7% (realni indeks = 103,7)
Neto zarada u januaru 2019. u odnosu na januar 2018.:
nominalno povećanje za 8,9% (nominalni indeks = 108,9)
realno povećanje za 6,7% (realni indeks = 106,7)
